This morning the PSW came, showered and dressed my husband, stretched his shoulder muscles, made him a shake, and left. That's what will be in the report. Here's what won't be: We are allowed an hour of care each day. the PSW showed up at 7:08 and left by 7:36 - everything in between that was rushed. My husband's sling was not fitted properly, leaving him sideways in his chair, and uncomfortable. The PSW made comments about my husband's floppiness, and how giving him a bedbath would be easier - but if the sling were on right he'd be fine. My husband suggested getting trained - and was told the PSW has done this for 14 years. After the shower, my husband's pants were not fastened properly and his shirt left askew. I had to ask him to help me put my husband's shirt over his belly, which is when his pants all fell loose because they were not done up. "Too hard to do" he muttered, and left us to make my husband's breakfast....
